The officer apparently tried to tuck a gun into his pants instead of using a holster, failed, dropped the gun, and menaced bystanders in response to his own failure
The problem with gun-wielding morons is they’re slow to realize the rest of us can put them in jail.
Those guys are fuckin trash at their job, my god.
It’s literally the South Park episode.
You know, where I’m at, that is a chargeable offense.
Loving his mag just sitting on the damn ground… clearly he is an untrained POS! He lost his damn gun taking down ONE guy… He couldn’t even shoot if he wanted leaving that mag on the ground, fucking idiot!
How does the orange fucking dick taste? Like shit? He def would know since he can’t even handle a damn gun properly. Fucking clowns!
I’ve seen drunk teenagers more eloquent and confident than this guy.
I mean it isn’t like they’re exactly hiring qualified individuals.
You have to be american to become a ICE agent
People need to read up on the Kent State shootings in 1970. National Guards “men” shot and killed people singing songs. 4 murdered, 9 more shot, then days later at UNM 8 students were stabbed with bayonettes.
There was an investigation, the Guard lied about being under sniper fire, most of these brave heros admitted they were scared because of rocks. No one was held responsible for a massacre of unarmed Americans.
America has a 50 year old problem of cowards with guns.

And we’re still talking about Kent State and UNM today as it had a serious affect on the country. But the sad part is, if something like this happened today, a third of Americans would blame the victims. Fox News would tell lies about what actually happened. And it would be swept under the rug and forgotten about by Christmas.
This kind of thing was way too common back then

Ah yes, the States. Where you have to be more scared of the police than of criminals.
I sure hope this doesn’t happen over here.
Not sure where here is, but police are the same everywhere.
That’s really ignorant, police is not at all the same everywhere
Nah, they are worse in the states. Yes, there are bad cops here too, one randomly pulled a gun on one of my family members at a traffic stop, but the cops here are generally better than in the states.
I don’t know. I’ve never even seen a police officer here take their gun out of the holster, no even put a hand over it.
Nope, that’s not true. The US is a special kind of hellscape.
I feel like they’re worse some places than others.
Fuck ICE. Nazi bastards.

I stayed just outside of DC a couple weeks ago. I went into a run-down Dunkin and it was operated entirely in Spanish aside from the cashier knowing just enough English to take orders from people who aren’t fluent in Spanish. I knew enough Spanish to be able to get my order when it was called. As I was leaving, a cop came in and started counting every brown person there. He made a big show of it, too, and people started panicking.
I honestly didn’t know what to do in that situation. I was hungover as hell, broke, and had to drive 5 hours to get home so I could wake up for work the next day. I decided to just hang out and make sure the cop knew that I was watching him. I had my phone out and ready to record if more serious shit started happening. After a few minutes, the cop went back outside to his squad car and I pretended like I totally just happened to be leaving at the same time. When I blatantly eavesdropped on the cop and his buddy in the squad car outside, I heard them laughing about the whole thing. Apparently terroizing immigrants and their families is a fucking game to those bastards.
The patrons of the place cleared out immediately after the cops were gone. I stayed parked at that Dunkin for a good half an hour after everyone who could leave did and nothing else happened.
I have no idea if I should have done something more in that situation. I wanted to tell the cop to get the fuck out of there. I wanted to say some witty shit like “Oh man, I didn’t order ice with my coffee.”
I kinda freaked out internally when I realized what was happening but I couldn’t bring myself to just leave despite my instincts telling me to. So I just made my presence and opposition to the cop known in a way that couldn’t (legally) get me arrested and hoped for the best.
Perhaps you could have done more, but you did something, and that matters in my books
Pointing a gun at someone is assault.
The state has a near-monopoly on legitimate violence.
An ICE agent pointing a gun at someone like this deserves to be fired. He basically doubled down on his own incompetency.
Problem is, who is the officer? No name, no badge number, unmarked car…
This is how the riots start. Sooner or later one of these untrained ice agents will shoot a civilian because he is scared. Somebody in that crowd will shoot back…and then it begins.
They do seem to forget how the Boston massacre started, don’t they?
“The shot heard 'round the world”, or something…
grabs popcorn
As an American, i just wanted to say fuck you.
A lot of good people are going to die. Your supposed entertainment here will be mostly poor people, and those who feel they can’t stand by while evil people oppress them.

To clarify, I do not enjoy this either, but its more of a comment about the state of affairs. The fact that we’ve become so desensitized that everything feels unreal/surreal, the events feel almost as if it were a movie. Hence “popcorn”. Its a sarcastic comment, not to be taken seriously. Its like how people laughs when something bad is about to happen, its nervous-laughter, a response to trauma. Sorry if you interpreted this comment this wrong way.

I’m also American, but I’m not white and I wasn’t born here in the US, I cannot afford to intervene. I’m also being persecuted by my previous country, and I can’t really put myself on the radar for two governments to come after me and my family/relatives, some of which aren’t citizens yet, so I’m bit of in a “Snowden” type situation, sorry, but I can’t do much. I’m afraid to go outside because xenophobes would tell me to “go home”.

Forget fired, they should face criminal charges as anyone else would if they pointed a gun on someone without a reason.
*deserves to be shot. Like all gestapo.
So what you are saying is they are going to promote them?
Per the article, these are Florida asssholes in Maryland. Sounds like wannabe slave catchers to me.
Apparently that’s a tactic, using soldiers - I’m sorry, “agents,” domestically you have to move them to a different location or they get soft.
Yeah, some people also have a problem being seen stomping their own neighbours.
That dumb fat bastard looks pretty soft. Pointing his gun helps him compensate for being a fascist bitch.
Being a fascist bitch is probably not the only short coming that piggy is compensating for. Lost of useless shriveled up roid-roasted nuts in ICE.
ICE isn’t so tough when they’re not slamming defenseless women into the ground, are they?
If they were so tough, why aren’t they going after actual gang members? Not old ladies they say have “gang connections”.
Believe it or not, you have gang connections too. You live on the same planet as a notorious violent gangster. DETAINED!
