So I get the thought, and fuck billionaires, but did any real “good” precipitate from this? It’s not like her position and the negative consequences of that position don’t exist anymore. They’ll just hire someone else who will be willing to sell their soul for the money. All that happened because of this is they’re going to ratchet up security…
Even the United health guy even if he’s not there the next guy is going to make the same decisions because ultimately there’s only one decision you can make if you’re only goal is to raise the stock price next guy is going to do the same thing, we’re treating the symptom not the cause.

The good thing about forgiveness is that it doesn’t have to be actually granted in order for the person to see the errors in their way and meaningfully repent. Works the other way too, you don’t have to forgive anyone for anything ever (though that can arguably be harmful to yourself).
