I’m not sure which is worse, the fact that you thought this was clever and relevant or the fact that other people upvoted it and helped to validate your unbounded idiocy.

Programmer Humor@programming.dev•Free software has some glib naming conventions
7·3 months agoWhen I met rms, I said “gnoperating system” lmao
Unless your job is doing something like political organizing, it makes no sense to draw a distinction between loving your job and doing it for free. I don’t understand why we even need to discuss this.
These people don’t want to hear it. They’re obsessed with the cult of hating Microsoft. If they said, software should be libre/open source and LibreOffice is superior in that regard, I could take them seriously.
Microsoft Word is just fine. I assume most of the hate is for Microsoft because Word works just fine for most people’s use cases.

politics @lemmy.world•AOC leads JD Vance for first time in 2028 election matchup: poll
7·3 months agoPart of the reason why social democracy is so important on the path to socialism is because line must go up for everyone or we’re totally screwed. I have no doubt the DNC will do whatever it can to undermine a candidate like AOC, but if we can implement a policy like Medicare for all, that will be a massive win for getting to the goal in more ways than one.
I would recommend 3389.

Both work because the reversal is part of the point. I didn’t find it difficult to read, so it’s subjectively legible.
