I dont see the issue, obviously they’ll just pull themselves up by their bootstraps and win the war, it was easy back in their day so it’ll be easy for them now. Kids today are just lazy

Nah, to partisan. Id agree with, if your representative doesn’t vote in the war time resolution to not go to war, then you are added to the draft list. Doesn’t matter if you are a Republican, Democrat, independent, or didn’t vote. It would make the representative actually have to represent their constituents, and face the wrath of their constituents if they go against them. (Also, no one exempt from the draft, don’t look at age, sex, wealth etc. random selection off of everyone). If your 76 year old grandma gets called to go, she goes. Overweight? You’ll probably die in boot camp.

It would probably end all wars ever from starting involving our country ever again, lol

You want to send grandma and grandpa to war? They fought in Korea and Viet Nam, and some of them in the Gulf War. They’re sick of war. And, while some of them are MAGA, they are those who voted for “no new wars” and are now pissed at Trump.

Bernie is a boomer and so are many of the people who support and voted for him.

If you want to stop being painted with one brush, be the change you want to see. It’s not a generational war, it’s a fucking class war.

How about we send the people who support it, and started it–the filthy rich?

Definitely. Generational divide is another tool of capital to reduce solidarity of the working class.

Bernie isn’t a boomer. He’s actually so old he’s in the silent generation that was before the boomers. 1941. Basically he was born before WW2 ended, so no one came back and had all the wreckless sex starting the baby boom yet

I mean modern weapons are so easy to use that even the elderly can be effective with them. I agree, let’s draft them. More jobs, more houses for real Americans

I ran into an elderly man at the grocery store this weekend, proudly wearing a crisp new “Trump 2028” baseball cap. Make his dumb ass a front-lines infantryman.

Except this is a War by, of, and for Millennials

Everyone who said they wanted to fight radical islamism - now is your chance. Make Joe Rogan a General and let him lead his army to victory

        Boomers did this

        Applause

Wait, it looks like Millennials/GenX are in charge

“Hey hey! Enough of this generation blaming!”

            Millenials don’t run anything.

Steven Miller, JD Vance, Pete Hegseth, Elise Stefanik, and Tulsi Gabbard all hold ranking positions in the federal bureaucracy. The average age of an ICE agent is 40, with plenty coming into the organization in their 20s. The average age of US military leadership is 44 (by design). The average age of US mayors is 50. The average CEO is 54, with newer executives tending to the high 40s. The average US voter’s age is 43.

            Millenials run plenty.

The senate is still dominated by Boomers and the Reps are dominated by Boomers and Gen X

And they’ve done nothing substantial to affect the Unitary Executive government. They’re perfectly happy to just sit on their hands while the younger and more aggressive leadership take the lead. They don’t control the money in a material sense, either. Lobbyists, DC staffers, and campaign bundlers all skew much younger. Dianne Feinstein was drooling into her oatmeal while her Chief of Staff James Sauls was making all her decisions.

Charlie Kirk was a mere 31 years young when he was abruptly unalived. He’d been slopping around a campaign war chest of $85M - more than most sitting governors - in an effort to influence elections through the American southwest.

These are the people running the country.

The fuck it is, we were students during 9/11 and watched our peers get fucked up and die in Iraq and Afghanistan for no reason. The conversion of SCOTUS to conservative and the godamn Patriot Act was already in place before most of us could even vote. The only millennials with the wealth to change anything are nepo babies with fascist dreams who never suffered when the economy collapsed, twice.

we were students during 9/11 and watched our peers get fucked up and die in Iraq and Afghanistan for no reason

Pretty sure there was a reason. The Cheney family fortune ballooned during those eight years. Nevermind the hedge fund sector. Hank Paulson made out like a bandit.

The conversion of SCOTUS to conservative and the godamn Patriot Act was already in place before most of us could even vote.

And then 20 years passed, and Millennials did what about it? Send JD Vance to the Senate? Put a trillion dollars into Bitcoin to gamble on rigged sports games? Spend half a career inflating the profits of Facebook and Palantir and the O&G industry or just straight up becoming cops?

The only millennials with the wealth to change anything are nepo babies with fascist dreams

Because y’all never unionized. You never got over your fear of migrants or your love of Ring Cameras. You never even logged off Twitter.

Millennials bought the poison pill of Boomerism without even getting the cheap homes or the good jobs.

Millennials embraced fascism chasing the American Dream. And now here we are, with hundreds of thousands of you fuckers wearing ICE badges so you can cover your Cybertruck notes and credit card debts.

Sort of the joke. “Trump’s brain dead! He’s being led around by the nose!”

“Okay, who is leading him around”

glances at the Millennial/GenX cabinet “Trump is playing 11D chess!”

Can you imagine how horrific it would be for the sergeants to wrangle a squad or platoon of boomers and actually get anything accomplished?
