Some stores have open/door-less refrigerated sections. Not the ideal as it uses up more power and the outer layer of items tend to spoil really quickly.

Sure, but in some places they’re the only feasible option.
I’m all about Hanniford. I’ve found their prices to be consistent between, Albany, Colonie, Niskayuna, and Latham NY stores. With price chopper their prices vary wildly based on which town you are shopping in. Downtown Albany and Schenectady prices are the moste jacked up, while those in the suburbs like glenmont, colonie ect are far better. I also chafe at having to carry around a fucking plastic card and have my data farmed to get stuff that’s on sale. I weep for anyone that doesn’t have any other choice besides Price
