Anyone else find it odd that no one bats an eye when people refer to mushrooms as vegetables, but call a tomato a vegetable and a hundred pedants all show up to insist how smart they are at biological classification? Like, mushrooms aren’t even plants, but next to no one has a problem with it

Fungi is a sign of healthy soil.
I’ve learned that human feces is the best growing grounds for shrooms and they are a protected species in some places. So if you grow them you are not allowed to stop growing them. You are just not allowed to consume them but no one needs to see you consuming themXD
