And fundamentalist Christian. The show was cancelled after revelations the alleged perpetrator’s brother, Josh Dugar, was accused and then convicted of molesting kids. Seems to run in the family. Community. Whatever the fuck MAGA is.
Just a slight correction the older brother wasn’t convicted of molestation he was convicted on child porn charges, the molestation he did was swept under the rug.

It was just about the worst child pornography in existence, involving horrific torture. One such video in his possession was said by an investigator to be in the top five worst files that he ever had to investigate. Allegedly, it was a video involving the brutal torture and rape of a baby and young girls. One of the girls was later murdered by the creator of the video, and the murder itself was allegedly filmed in a video that he intended to distribute (but did not get to before he was arrested).

I kind of think it’s that woman’s place thing. Either she does a good job of that or all bets are off. It could be just so many kids is basically like running an orphanage of your own kids.
Yeah. A friend of mine in high school was number 3 or 4 of 10 and she was expected to raise her siblings. Two people can’t give 10 children the attention they need and they just treat raising siblings like it’s a reasonable chore for a child.
There are a lot of confounding factors, I think. But yeah, the Duggar family was perfectly tuned for breeding sexual predators. There’s a documentary series on Amazon Prime. Shiny Happy People. Season 1 is all about the Duggars and the cult they are members of, IBLP. I haven’t watched season 2 yet.

I’m certain all of them have been abused in some way. So, there’s 19 kids that suffer the rest of their life from normalized abuse and/or repeat the cycle.
Somehow, the society they live in just looks the other way until the abuse leaks out of their enclave.

Yes, the Duggars have had been involved in similar scandals previously. But no, this is not the same person. The oldest of their kids, Josh, was convicted on multiple counts for possession of CSAM. Apparently some very disturbing stuff, too, including torture and snuff videos. He also molested some of his younger sisters, which was covered up by the family for years while they were on TV.
Again? Or is this a different member of the family?

Pretty sure it’s historic. Same was that x-mas is used for Christmas. I think it’s related to the Greek alphabet or something? Idk I’m feeling disinclined to actually Google it but I definitely even grew up calling it x-mas.
