People have shared how Costco would work with farms and say, “Well pay you less per product, but we’re order a magnitude more than your next buyer. Enough that you can retire next year.”

The numbers are insane.

The family that owns Walmart, the Waltons, are part of the billionaire class. Their workers are on food stamps. While Costco workers have 401k, and make $25-35 an hour. Depending on your state, that’s double the minimum wage.

Which is a shame, because it’s the only DQ game I haven’t played because it’s a MMO and not translated into English.

Around 2015, My niece told me she worked at a bank teller and the first thing they did was require her to install the bank’s app and rate it five stars. She said her phone is too old and they got angry. And she’d tell me they’d do “phone sweeps” to see if the app was on people’s phones.

How it shapes how I view games is how Zelda creates a lot of subconscious rules we take for granted until we see it not being used.

The amount of indie games that pay a company to market for them to create pure marketing garbage is too high.

In the 2000s, people were already starting to move back in with their family. There were jokes in movies and TV, but not much. The rising cost of everything, it was a good financial move to save money living with your parents again.
