Remember, its only election fraud if a republican loses.

its only fraud if trump gets less votes than he wanted.

even if its on the same ballot, if 12 republicans win on the ballot, and 1 democrat wins… Its only the democrat win thats fraudulent, not the entire ballot. not the republican votes.

Republican votes are never fraudulent, especially when they are.

Also, Remember, They have a urgent criminal need to subvert these elections, to maintain power.

Because the epstein file releases, which have been heavily redacted and censored in their favor, still reveals a vile cult of sick child rapists.

They are literally fighting for their lives, That is how desperate they are to steal these next two elections. Thats why they are so dangerous right now, Thats why they are trying to crush the public with ICE, Its why they are trying to build databases of opponents and dissidents, its why they are doing everything they can to violently intimidate and suppress anyone wanting to act against them.

Thats why they are so obsessed with fraud, because, as they’ve done for 50 years, Republicans always point the finger at the democrats for everything that the republicans themselves do, want to do, or will do.

Liberals loved to insist the End of America is near whenever the nation’s mask slips far enough to reveal it’s true face.

Dirty truth is that the USA will keep on trucking, right over millions more people. Only difference will be that they’re our neighbors this time, rather than colonized peoples on the other end of the Earth.

Why does it seem like everyone forgot that he already tried to rig the elections on Jan 6? Democracy officially died on January 20, 2025, and we were screaming from the rooftops that it was going to die if Trump were reelected. But Trump is just a symptom of a larger issue.

The real rot in our system has been here since the founding of the country. The founding fathers chose capitalism as the form of economics, and what they didn’t realize (or maybe did) was that they were just replacing one king with another. They explicitly allowed people who seek power to continue to be allowed to have power over others. Regardless of how much it is or isn’t regulated, it will always lead back to the same road. Call it monarchy, oligarchy, fascism, dictatorship, authoritarianism, or whatever else you want, but this is the road that we travel down whenever we allow rulers in society.

The only way to fix this forever is to not allow rulers in society. Anything short of that will lead us right back here.

We have to disband this entire government.

Republicans are obviously doing crimes but the Democrats are complicit to these in spite of the inexcusably lazy defense of “decorum”. You don’t stand on decorum when criminals are killing people outside and shitting all over your floor.

You mean the D.C. that is famously full of people of color, none of whom have representation, despite having a larger population than two states, and who have been historically marginalised, in large part because a few blocks of the city have some marble buildings filled with ethnonationalist, corpofascist kakistocrats? You’re suggesting we burn down that D.C.?

Except, what everyone seems to be ignoring is that those buildings literally aren’t filled with the evil dudes most of the time. I was born in DC. Those buildings are almost entirely empty, and there are always multiple orders of magnitude more tourists in and around them than there are potentates. Most of the most powerful people in the country don’t even live in DC most of the time, because they’re rich enough to just fly in whenever they need to, or drive in from nearby states, where they have massive mansions. I’ve given my perspective in a different reply which you are welcome to read, but torching DC is an inane idea, tantamount to screaming and breaking a plate so you can feel like you’re helping the situation.

Don’t get me wrong, we here in Lemmy have got the screaming part down. However, any revolutionary effort that doesn’t go toward either mutual aid or grinding the system to a halt is, ultimately, ineffectual.

Are you aware of how large-scale fires work? Don’t be dense yourself. There’s a reason we demolish buildings with high-explosives, not fucking gasoline and matches.

While you have a point, are you suggesting we continue to let them be victimized by doing nothing and continue on with the status quo? Sometimes forests have to burn and the old has to die to let new life flourish. Such is a fact of nature.

As I said to a different response: when demolishing buildings, we use high explosives, not gasoline. I was born in DC. The buildings didn’t do anything wrong, nor did the people who live near those buildings. Very few of the traitors to the nation even live in the capital most of the time. Burning a city to the ground is never an acceptable solution to any problem; It wasnt appropriate in WWII for Dresden, London, or Hiroshima, it wasn’t in the war of 1812 for D.C., and it isn’t now. Large-scale retaliation will only cause collateral damage and put up a smokescreen. It would be nothing more than senseless violence amounting to stomping your feet on the ground. Any action which has a hope of success in bringing justice must be done in an orderly and methodical manner, I don’t go in for all the modern second amendment crap, and am a conscientious objector, because the one part of that amendment which is most important is this: a well-regulated militia is necessary to protect the rights of the people. The declaration of independence makes it clear that we have a right and a duty to throw off this government, which is openly seeking to reduce us under absolute despotism, but that doesn’t mean just burning some uninhabited buildings with god knows how much collateral damage is a good plan. It would be nothing but theatre with an extreme innocent death toll.

Excuses are just delay tactics while they maneuver to secure the mechanisms of power behind the scenes. What is America going to do if they succeed, the election happens, and everyone knows it’s bullshit? What is each of you reading this going to do? Anything? Democracy dies with a whimper?

For people like me, we’ll be relying on our local governments and neighbors.

I’m lucky that I live in Seattle, Washington. My government will do its damnedest to fight back and protect us. If there is a civil war, my local government is on my side. That helps. It also helps that we’d have Oregon with us. California, maybe, but there’s a lot of red between Eugene, OR, and San Francisco, and their state and local governments are more entrenched in the federal status quo (looking at Newsom).

We are also very active as far as activism and mutual aid go in this region. And our gun ranges can get crowded.

You appear to be a fascist sympathizer, but that’s provable. Every lawsuit attached to voter fraud remarkably time and time again results in pointing to some Republican voter fraud scheme.

Prove it you f’in parrot, or shut yer hole.
