    Why the death penalty?

Suspected Nazis should be given community service to work in soup kitchens, clean graffiti and pickup trash and such in majority black and brown neighborhoods.

The thing is that you better ensure they don’t work or meet up with other nazis in that meantime, otherwise they might reinforce their stupid aryan bubble

I mean, yes and no. I live where gang tags and random acts of vandalism are rather a frequent occurrence so when I say graffiti removal, I’m thinking that. Things like that only work to harm our neighborhood, defacing our storefronts and public transit and making people feel less safe in their community.

But yes, some forms of graffiti are expression and art. Nazis would take pleasure in removing that we aren’t for that, of course.

Nazi: I want to create an ethnostate and genocide the people I consider inferior.

Anti-nazi: Well then I’ll kill you to prevent you from doing that.

You for some reason: both these positions are equally bad.

          Not a tankie, try again.

So the partisans who killed Mussolini are supposedly just as bad as Mussolini and Georg Elser just as bad as Hitler, or what? /s

No, they were rightly fought because they had active roles in the mass murder of millions of innocent people. Your argument is a strawman; the post is advocating for the murder of people based on their views, not theit actions.

Perhaps death is too far but name, shame, and ridicule until they stop speaking Nazi rhetoric, until they are afraid to spread their opinions. The world fought a war about this and we all agree the idea of massacring millions for their religious views is a bad thing. I’m looking at you Israel, just because your peoples were victims once doesn’t mean you cant turn around and become the evil you once feared. As a society we must deny tolerance to those who would take advantage of said tolerance and promote intolerance

That was not what WW2 was fought about at all.

The Jews weren’t killed in the Holocaust for their religious views, but for their ethnicity. An atheist communist with one Jewish parent went to the gas chambers and shooting pits just like the pious Jew in traditional dress.

    The USAian view again:

    • you don’t agree with me? you must be an enemy
    • enemies have to die

Can’t be anything other than extreme. Absolutely everything is is black and what, right or wrong. You’re absolutely right or you’re absolutely wrong. There’s no in between. Trying to find a middle ground means you’re not agreeing with me --> you’re a nazi/communist/liberal/tankie.

    USAians man…

I’m not American and what you’re saying doesn’t make sense anyway. The US enables free speech to the point of self-destruction. Trump is in the White House now, not in prison, precisely for that reason.
