I don’t care if the list has Karl Marx, Jesus and my dad on it.

Anyone on that list needs to be held accountable.

And notice we’re not frothing at the mouth falling all over each other to protect him. Throw his old ass in jail I don’t care!

Life in prison is too good for pedos. They should be castrated and have their feet removed. Full stop.

And if she did give a shit about covering for Bill in the past and did anything to meaningfully do that, then by all means, lock her up too.

This shouldn’t be political. I don’t care if there was a stupid slogan for that chanted by idiots, a broken clock can be right sometimes.

Right? The time when there might have been some kind of large amount of people wanting to cover for him was maybe…2 and half decades ago? The guy isn’t in power, no one cares enough for any of that…

It’s mostly the butthurt cons that were spreading black helicopter nonsense and swapping copies of the Clinton Body Count over email back in the 90s that are still obsessed with Bill (and Hillary).

Frankly I love this, because now we get to watch the conservatives squirm.

Is Bill Clinton a pedo for associating with Epstein? Or are they going to walk back all of their statements and say Clinton did nothing wrong writing a sex trafficker a birthday card?

All the Democrats I know are fine with locking him up if evidence against him surfaces, but boy howdy is it gonna do a number on the conservatives in my life.

If they weren’t shameless hypocrites, yeah. You really think they’ll have any issue saying Clinton is a pedo for associating with Epstein, while in the same breath saying Trump did nothing wrong for that exact same thing?

They really aren’t squirming. We have to stop letting the stupid algorithms and memes we subscribe to color our thinking about the reality of social divides.

The right broadly is happy as pigs in shit right now. They DO NOT CARE about Epstein or any of the other “scandals” broadly. They’re just happy their angry, orange Jesus is making the nasty, nasty liberals and trans kids cry. They wanted all of this, they don’t care about crime and law and consistency and leadership and the economy and policy. They just care about the narrative and the narrative they are hooked into right now is that the left broadly is screaming in rage and they LOVE IT.

There are some here and there who are really uncomfortable and it may be a wedge issue for them, but don’t get fooled by amplified minority voices on any topic.

The minority voices here are more important than you think. The hardcore MAGA base is not that big, and they need more mainstream conservatives to go along with it–the ones who say “I hate Trump, but Hillary/Biden/Kamala would be worse”. You start cleaving away pieces of MAGA, and it will fall apart as a political movement.

I don’t know. With everything that was known about Trump from his entire history, first term, j6, and campaign ‘promises’, you’d think he wouldn’t have been electable, much less actually win. But here we are, with a complicit congress and enabling supreme court (maybe that’s the other way around), and the wholesale destruction of safety nets, regulatory bodies and systems.

Since 2009, the United States, in the conduct of U.S. counterterrorism operations against al-Qa’ida and its associated forces outside of areas of active hostilities, has specifically targeted and killed one U.S. citizen, Anwar al-Aulaqi

al-Awlaki, a cleric born in New Mexico, incited and plotted terrorist incidents involving U.S. targets, including lending support via email to Nidal Hasan in 2009 before Hasan killed 13 and wounded more than 30 people at Fort Hood in Texas.

We have a 5th amendment or we don’t. Bush and Obama’s excesses ratcheded up executive power and made trump possible. Now imagine trump shrugging his shoulders and saying “terrorist. very bad.” as he drone strikes American citizens and thank Obama for setting the precedent.

I agree they laid the ground work to compromise the safety of US citizens in the name of terrorism, but I don’t think you can blame Trump on Bush and Obama. That seems like reaching while actively ignoring the rest of the problems that led to Trump.

Wait, didn’t Trump literally shrug his shoulders and sent Obrego García to El Salvador to use him as an example and set precedent? Except that García wasn’t plotting and inviting terrorist attacks on the US nor was he related to an attack that actually happened. I think that’s a key distinction you can’t overlook.

I can’t accept that he actually did that because he was never tried by his peers and is therefore innocent in the eyes of the law. The whole point of the 5th amendment is we’re not supposed to just accept the governments pinky swear that someone is guilty. They’re meant to prove it, on the record.

It’s a damn good thing Bill Clinton is no longer actively president, nor at risk of being elected again. Hence my focus on the elephant in the fucking room, so to speak.

(That said, I say hold each and every one of them accountable in front of a jury of their peers).

Clinton met with Netanyahu in the Oval Office in February 1997. Subsequently, according to testimony Lewinsky gave to the special counsel’s office, Clinton’s secretary Bettie Currie reached out to Lewinsky to invite her to an Oval Office meeting, telling her Clinton “had something important to tell her.”

It would turn out to be their final sexual encounter, but Clinton also used the opportunity to tell her that “a foreign embassy” had tapped his phone and recorded their conversation, Lewinsky said. Clinton did not specify which embassy, though the meeting with Lewinsky came the month after his meeting with Netanyahu.
