Senate Democrats have introduced legislation that would let ordinary citizens and state attorneys general sue a president for money obtained through corruption.

Senator Alex Padilla and Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer unveiled the Anti-Corruption Bureau Creation Act on 30 July 2026 at a Public Citizen forum in Washington.

The bill would create the first independent federal agency dedicated to policing corruption across the executive branch. Its sponsors describe it as a direct answer to what they call the unprecedented self-dealing of President Donald Trump’s second term.

The interesting thing is that Ukraine (which does have corruption problem) has such independent institution to flight corruption. The institution was created because of demand of Western countries, including UD. It is crazy that US doesn’t have something similar as it definitively needs it.

I’m also certain that the Epstein files are (among other things) right in the center of the corruption.

‘Hey Mr.President sir, Can you sign this law that would let me sue you? Thanks.’

Good luck with that one. I like the thought, but yeah, not gonna happen. At least making them say no is a statement I guess.

Yeah. If they had the cotes to override a veto on this, they’d also be able to remove him from office.

Yeah if it passes I’ll upload a video of me sucking my own dick.

So tired of the games man. "Look, LOOK something might change

Oh, except its democrats that did it so it will never be passed with a majority republican government.

    Sorry about that.

Headline next week " Senate Democrats issue a bill that would end child hunger, introduce a cap on credit card interest, cut student loans to manageable levels AND give free healthcare to every citizen!!"

Yeah I sure bet they fucking did because they know that shit will never, ever pass.

It is tiring. It is 100% mental masturbation. Its a waste of time for all involved.

Had they wanted this to be different they could have had the shitty court system actually hold him accountable for the 4 years they were running the show.

Know why they didn’t do that? Because suits stick with their own.

But that’s alright they will introduce the Hold Accountability for Trump act in a couple of months that they know won’t pass either.

I agree everything you said. But on the off chance that Willy Wonka makes some actual chocolate… do we do proof or bans on these kinds of things?

Also, chuck schumer in a body suit was not a mental image I needed.

I suppose I should say I’ll upload a video of me attempting to suck my own dick lol not a chance in hell I’d actually be able to physically do it

I’d take a ban though being banned from politics probably would not be the worst thing in my life.

No one is getting paid from this

Worse than that, they’ll use the law to go after the Bidens for baseless claims of corruption instead of the trumps

Why are they wasting time on bills that will never pass? If you can’t get republicans to vote on your bill it’s a huge waste of time.

Making people see that Republicans don’t want this is as much a strategy as trying to pass the bill itself. ‘Only try to pass legislation if you know it will pass’ is why Senate Democrats are weak babies who are more concerned with getting along with their Republican colleagues than playing the game.
