At this point I think the only useful signage is “sitting” vs “standing” and maybe “accessible”.

These are the bathroom doors at a brewery near me. I don’t understand why more places don’t do this. If it’s a single stall bathroom, it’s all that matters.

How does sit only work? Some kind of height restriction that forces you to crawl in backwards?

I think they’re referring to the toilet itself. Usually you can stand and pee into a toilet, but they’re suggesting the ceiling is so low it forces you to crawl and sit down.

It only has a seat, no urinal. You really shouldn’t pee standing up into a public toilet that isn’t a urinal. Pee splashes everywhere.

It should be normalized to not stand up in any toilet that isn’t a urinal or a squat toilet

If I ever run a place with bathrooms, I’ll get two gender neutral bathrooms then make a habit of putting confusing pictures in front of each like they’re gendered, like a picture of a screwdriver on one and a picture of a wrench on the other, another day put a knight chess piece on one and rook on the other, a goose and a squirrel, keep em guessing
