    They’re not wrong.

    I wish I could get people to care about wages and health care even half as much as they care about someone saying or posting something mean, or the next slave-manufactured iphone, or whatever dumb shit is trending on TIkTok.

    When, on the 2010 US Census, we saw that mixed-race households had increased by 20+%, I still had a modicum of hope for the future. But social media algorithms sure solved that problem for the ruling class.

      You demand lower interest rates so that the consumer can get themselves into forever debt. That kicks the can down the road for a bit so hopefully it’s someone else’s problem.

    Maybe 100 years of State oppression of the Left in general and Civil Rights in particular has something to do with it?

    This consumerism explanation could only come from a capital-brained billionaire high on his own supply. Social Justice as a supply side issue? Makes perfect sense if you don’t think about it.

    It’s also super racist. Black Americans are not stupid children and JayZ is not the pied piper.

    Yah thats what they think, I think their in for a rude awakening since mostly only the selfish and stupid think like that, a good chunk of us don’t and that’s still a lot of people angry at you.

    It’s what I’ve been saying. In a postindustrial world, most especially in the states, revolution is economically, technologically, and culturally impossible.

    Americans in particular are simply too wrapped up in themselves to give a shit about what kind of world this is. They barricade themselves in their ridiculously expensive housing, self-medicate with cheap beer and reality shows, and just shrug when ICE beats the shit out of the neighbors’ kid.

    I been listening to Elmessiri, an Egyptian scholar who address this issue as being part of a materialistic ideology. People like the Greek who would eat, vomit, then go back to eat. The society is built to normalize self indulgence. If something doesn’t have a materialistic value it’s disregard as trash.

    We saw this in Nazi Germany with eldery people, and we see it now in simple forms such as homelessness and senior homes. He suggested that, people who take this materialistic view of the world would do things like killing, raping children, as well as building camps for those who the see as useless.

    He wrote about it in the 60s, and I found it interesting because his model suggest exactly what we see today. Or we can say, what we see today and what happens in Nazi Germany fit his model.

    I found it interesting because that tell us Trump is not a unique case, he is the perfect example for someone who only care about himself, the reason why he get voted, is because the Eroupean and American ( US and Canada ) made it clear to the public that this is what a great American will look like. He works hard, care only about himself, he is strong because he vote the Democrat and won against all odds. Therefore, he can do whatever and no one will do anything about it.

    If you stop Trump, that means you longer materialistic and there are values that higher than oneself, which goes against decade of dectornation.

    We also see the same language in the email, who they treat people as disposable products, if you are not a cunsomer you are useless and should be killed. They have system in place to make sure you can barely live if you are not a cunsomer, through insane health insurance, student debt, and many little things in Media and even city planning.

    The only way out is to revolt against these ideology otherwise, another Trump will come up…

        Unfortunately it is not translated in English, he mention in youtube lectures that he address this as part of his PhD thesis, which I think is where he argues this in writing. this in an older work so and i couldnt find it or go through it yet.

        His thesis called: “THE CRITICAL WRITINGS OF WORDSWORTH AND WHITMAN: A STUDY OF THE HISTORICAL AND ANTI-HISTORICAL IMAGINATIONS”

        Note that they are saying he is a communist and Muslim brotherhood, but I don’t believe these labels are accurate so far, I haven’t gone through much of his work, but from what he saying, he is clearly focus more one defining models and frame works rather than being part of one.

        i am also intersted in translating his lecture to english using AI, if i manage to do that i will keep you posted.
