Yup, these minimum wage earners are the REAL problem.
I love the small business owner complaining that having to pay her employees a fair wage is difficult.
Nebraska, where the age of consent is lower than that the minimum rate of pay.
And yet they will probably try to lower both more.
In Nebraska you’re old enough to vote or die for your country at age 18 or 19, but don’t you dare think you’re worthy of earning the regular adult minimum wage.
If I’m under 20 and in Nebraska, this would really make me rethink voting for the same dickheads and morons my parents voted for.
It’s like to say they’ll remember that at the ballot box, but they won’t.

My partner showed me this a couple years ago. Now, we’ll be talking or I have a thought and the conclusion is “America” to which the follow-up is “want to put it on?”

It’s the writing style. If that is the type of material that one reads in their formative years it makes sense that it’s emerging again in the twilight years
Ps. I’m sorry I spent so much time on this it just struck me and I had to explore. Made me sick at some points. To be clear, I support everyone’s right to vote but the above quoted message was demonizing that sentiment. Also to be clear, Geary was a white man and won that election

Nebraska lawmakers vote to take away the peoples votes. If a a majority doesn’t matter, then their votes don’t matter. Every Nebraskan would be supporting bowing and no say apparently …
Honestly they should just “deport” every representative who defied their votes from the state and let the federal government say " you can’t remove people for disagreeing with democracy"
