Among the latest Epstein files dump is a list of wild complaints made withe the FBI that include wild allegations against President Donald Trump and others.

Another complaint — for which there was no contact information provided — alleged that “calendar girls” parties at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago involved genital measurements for children.

“Jeffrey Epstein would bring the children in and trump would auction them off. He measured the children’s vulva and vaginas by entering a finger and rated the children on tightness,” the complaint reads.

      You have to realize, someone who views life as a transaction, is a malignant narcissist, and has wealth is capable of the WORST of depravities a human can commit. I had a father like him and my sisters had to lock their doors to their rooms despite him demanding and even breaking through a door once. He liked to go to the bathroom when they showered. That’s just what /I/ know of.

      A good rule is: the stuff we know is almost always just scratching the surface of how bad it actually is. This applies to specific people, countries and much of history.

      Look, I think he’s a piece of shit. But, I also think we shouldn’t judge anybody based on anonymous accusations phoned into a tip line. I mean, can you imagine the kinds of nonsense MAGA folks are constantly phoning into tip lines about every prominent democrat?

        I don’t think Epstein related accused deserve the benefit of the doubt anymore. Too much has been corroborated, and they’ve worked too hard to bury it/cover it all up.

          Look, the kind of people who show up in Epstein’s files are the kind that deserve zero sympathy. They’re the kinds of ultra-rich people who should be lined up for the guillotine just because of their obscene wealth hoards, even if they had nothing to do with child sex abuse.

          But, just look at the phenomenon of SWATting. People phone in a malicious tip to the police in the hope that they kick down someone’s door. In addition to malicious people, a tip line is going to get people having schizophrenic episodes, people suffering carbon monoxide poisoning, etc.

          To me, these allegations seem about as likely as there being a secret basement at Comet Ping Pong pizzeria where the elites were draining children of their adrenachrome. And, I’d really like it if my side didn’t go all Q-Anon and start believing every possible rumour just because it makes someone they hate look bad.

              “Grab 'em by the pussy” was about adults. It was presumably about over-the-clothes groping. It’s something that you can talk about in public, as evidenced from the fact that the famous clip comes from a time when Trump was bragging about it to someone.

              The phrase “He measured the children’s vulva and vaginas by entering a finger and rated the children on tightness” is not something you’d expect to hear except in a courtroom where someone is being tried for child sexual abuse. And, we’re supposed to believe that happened at “Calendar Girl” parties at Mar-A-Lago? I just don’t buy it. This would have leaked a lot earlier if it were true. I mean, this isn’t even about a private island where it’s easy to control every person who comes and goes. Mar-A-Lago is just some private club in West Palm Beach, Florida, which presumably has a lot of cooks, janitors, waiters, security guards, groundskeepers, IT people, etc. coming on and off-site regularly just to keep the place running. Even if you think that somehow there was a cabal of child sex predators who were buddies and were honest enough to all trust one-another and not turn each-other in. Somehow, you’re also avoiding any of the staff noticing what’s going on?

              Keep in mind that we know how lax the security was at Mar-A-Lago, from the fact that classified docs were found just piled in a random bathroom. If we were talking about some place that was known for ultra tight security, where there were presumably back rooms that were guarded at all times and where something secret might have been happening, then maybe I could believe that this might have happened. But, not at Mar-A-Lago.

              So, it’s not that Trump might do this that’s hard to believe. I can easily believe he’d do something depraved like that. But, not at a party, in front of a crowd of people who could identify him, at his semi-public golf club.

    “wild” being used aims to downplay and cast a sense of skepticism of the story when in reality, we all know this fucker has done horrible shit.     This was mentioned at the time of the story of the lake. The Epstein files include also the unverified tips to the FBI.

    The strategy here is they are slowly releasing outlandish and unverified accusations first, slowly so that people start debating “is it true? Is it false?”

    These are realistically all false (and this is the point) so when the real, verified, documented things will come out

    1. They will sound minor
    2. People that were invested (at the time realistically) in saying these are false, will keep in saying that are false.

    The Bunba story, for example, now seems small and fake (while it was mentioned by people that were there not like this BS that was tipped by some idiot anonymously on internet)

    In other words these are all attempts to discredit the Epstein files.

    And based on a lot of conversations here… it seems that they are successful (and the average Lemmy user has waaay more critical sense than, let’s say, Facebook user)

      I have no idea how you’re deciding they’re all false. I can see that you’re deciding to believe that Trump has any decency over victims… Which I just don’t understand. These stories are extremely similar, span many years, and include dozens of victims… What is convincing you that Trump didn’t have child sex auctions??

    Something is not right, this pedo organized crime with links to foreign countries and intelligence must have damining evidence, not only texts and photos but also a full audio / video evidence of crimes. Otherwise the entire operation would be useless.

    Additionally, Considering they are using the email casually like that, I wouldn’t be surprised if these files are hosted on tech giant service. Maybe that why they got their foot into the administration.

    What Musk was trying to do with doge must also been related.

    Anyway, to the American, good luck fighting Iran because if that war started, even if Trump impeachment happened, and Democrat win house and office, there will be no stop to it…
