A lot of crime is evidence of insanity, from narcissism, megalomania; really, all homicide is rooted in insanity.
We lock those people the hell up, though.
No one gets a cushy institutionalization unless their docs all agree. Into genpop until then.

I’ve had SMS messages read to me by a third party, not a cop. I’ve had transcripts of ‘private’ cell calls read back to me by a third party, not a cop.
I survived the entire lifetime of skype without having the same, and I guess I hope the same happens with whatsapp.

You give your boarding pass to someone else and they get on the plane instead.
And when the ID match and picture check at the gate doesn’t pass? Have you flown, like, ever?
Doesn’t seem that complicated.
I’m a twin, and I’m not sure my clone could pass on my ticket and passport. It’s not complicated, but it’s better security than TSA.

Hold them accountable
Whom are you talking too, here? It’s not America who will hold them accountable; and the UN hasn’t found even the teeth to stop Israel’s very public genocide. The EU?
When the enterprise OS company I worked for in 2k1 was considering forking a Linux distro to offer as a freemium product, they evaluated enterprise Linux and Debian.
Debian lost then as its package format had weaker validation and consistency guarantees. It’d’ve been harder to support.
The packaging in both hasn’t changed much, except RH forgot how to use /etc/alternatives properly and now has some ungodly rinkydink thing supplementing it like a colo bag on the side, but the validation difference is still there.
Maybe that was why. Both are riddled with fridge art - oh hi Systemd, network manager, et al - but both are generally similar other than packaging and pipeline.

So with apple locking hard way before android, now what are you proudly signall-uh, running, with neither of them as options?

What’s the hardware? Pixel?

Tell us what you come up with? If apple and android are out, it’s gonna be sailfish or graphene on a thinning hw profile, right?

The incidence of kidnapping was WAY higher in gen-x days with no cell phones to rat out the pervs. And even when it was way higher, most child abuse happened by someone well-known to the victim. Stranger-danger was unbelievably rare.
My entire school in the 4th grade (so 9yo) lived next to a busy highway used by full 80t logging trucks, dump trucks, semi-trucks with full loads, in an area where snow is common in winter. We’d trudge down the boulevard of the highway, alto sax or trombone cases in hand, lugging it all to school and back. The whole class would. All grades would, from 4-7, hair and clothes flapping in the wind as a semi would roar past.
Then from the 8th grade we’d attend the school in the next town over. We’d get ourselves to the bus stop and disappear for 8 hours, completely out of contact, the eldest child with a house key and no ID, no phone, no tracker watch, no geofencing.
Tell me again how modern life is dangerous.

Didn’t his base want to get rid of all the Mexicans?
Yes.
They’re not gonna let the Mexicans live in Mexico any more than this assclown’s best bud bibi is letting gazans live in Gaza. Any land grab will look the same. And wow, do they have no fucking idea what they’d be up against.

Trump could unite the cartels …against America.

It’s like a bleep on YouTube over some naughty word a guy says before he mows bad guys down with his machine gun. YouTube wants to protect its already-confirmed-adult viewers from hearing the spicy words as it could detract from the purity of the bloodshed.
I tend to write my cover letters at 0137 on way too much caffeine. I get the callbacks, so something in that must be working.
I talked general stuff with the Google guy (pingpong balls in a bus et al) but no coding challenges.
I guess I have truly left the realm of hard coding (at C) as it’s all “solve this excellent infrastructure requirement and then rip out your brain and grab the crayons because it’s in yaml and fucking ansible” now.

News flash: New Mexico renames Donald Trump

I learned this from my dad. The hardest part is to be nice to absolute assholes, but I’ve seen it does improve relations when you have to work alongside them.
Yes, I’m pissed that I have to mod my behaviour to be extra-nice to these dicks. Yes, I do enjoy that they coordinate better with me after I’ve nicely indicated where the last joint effort could have been better with that coordination.
It’s all about how we be professional knowledge workers work and coordinate like adults and express disappointment and a wish for improvement, I guess.
Nor balances.
