Reminds me of all those “helicopter randomly malfunctions in a hot warzone” news we got when I was in the (French) army, lol. Can’t let the truth ruin the esprit de corps!
To be fair, desert sand isn’t too good for turbines. In Mali a German Tiger helicopter crashed and killed both pilots after a malfunction
Well, helicopters do occasionally randomly fall from the air, even in peacetime.
It just happens that suring war, some also explode (for no reason of course) before they hit the ground.
