I have no desire to be the morality or thought police, I just know that a lot of people don’t want to be surprised with porn or gore that they weren’t intending to see, so sometimes I ask people to use the NSFW tag.

As a general rule of thumb, it would be best to tag anything that is (or appears to be) from porn, even if censored or off screen.

Unlike the corpo web, we don’t have shadowbanning/deboosting of NSFW content, so there’s no real reason to avoid it.
