• Republicans warn against mocking Kirk’s death, threaten dire consequences
  • At least 15 people fired or suspended for allegedly disrespecting Kirk’s memory
  • Online campaigns directed by Republicans continue to target Kirk’s critics online

WASHINGTON, Sept 13 (Reuters) - After the fatal shooting of right-wing influencer Charlie Kirk, U.S. Republicans have a warning for Americans: Mourn him respectfully or suffer the consequences.

Over the past several days, Democratic and Republican leaders have widely condemned the murder of Kirk, a 31-year-old activist and Trump world celebrity known for his hard-right views and pugnacious debating style.

    Hey Kirk fans,

I’ll show him just as much respect as the right showed the minnesota democrats who were attacked by a right wing nut job (just like Kirk was, I might add)

Exactly two people die on the “wrong” side and nothing.

    That’s not a “warning,” that’s a threat.

It is just and righteous to threaten them in kind and I’m tired of pretending it’s not.

Whenever I see pictures of Charlie Kirk I sincerely can’t tell if his face really is that small or if it’s shopped for the memes.

I’ll say this about Charlie Kirk: while inconsistent, at some point he wanted the Epstein files released. Let’s mourn him properly. Let’s get those files. Do it for Charlie™.

He wanted them released until the admin told him not to. No brownie points for that.

Well then, don’t be a piece of shit while you’re alive.

Mourn him properly? Sure. Well as the man himself said it, it is a necessary cost of having the second amendment. Also as he stated empathy is a disease of the woke, so nothing to see here, just move along.

What I don’t get is why do people think he wants them to mourn him? He made his thoughts on that pretty clear lol

I think they are right. Everyone should mourn him properly.

And there is no way more proper than respecting his own wishes and acting like he encouraged to do.

So let’s gladly accept his death as the neccessary and justified cost for free gun ownership, don’t politicize his death, don’t show any empathy for him who preached violence and reaped exactly what he sowed, and start collecting money for the legal representation of the guy who shot him.

    Did I miss anything?

Every time I go to the range now, I’ll thank Charlie for dying so that I can own this rifle that I bought long before he was relevant or caught one in the neck.

      May he rest in piss.

I got an email at work about this, saying there would be an investigation into employees’ posts.

I can understand if they say something heinous from their work accounts (unless you work for the POtuS, apparently), but there are already rules and regulations for that stuff.

MMW they will use this sort of surveillance and censorship to go after anyone critical of political figures on the far right. If they’re this protective about someone like this, imagine what they could do to silence opposition of other leaders who are alive.

I do not condone murder. I don’t even support a death penalty. But I do not and will not mourn terrorists, nor will I tolerate the whitewashing, sanewashing, or saintwashing of that hateful, monstrous person. Who dedicated their life to spreading fear and suffering and damnation among his fellow man.

I am a staunch atheist, but since Kirk frequently masqueraded as a Christian, I’ll leave you all with this:

    Matthew 23:13-15

    Tap for spoiler

You will suffer, you politicians and preachers. Hypocrites! Because you have shut people out from the kingdom of heaven you will never enter, just as you have stopped others from entering.

You will suffer, you politicians and preachers. Hypocrites! You would rob a widow of everything she has left, while verbosely pretending to pray; therefore, your punishment will be unimaginable.

You will suffer, you politicians and preachers. Hypocrites! You would travel any distance over land or sea to win one convert; and when you have one, you make them twice the child of damnation that you are.
