MAGA just thinks that it’ll torch the Clintons and not their entire leadership. They will readily accept any half baked excuse for trump and co being on the list. They have no morals, only marching orders.

They’ve had a decade to wake up to it, I highly doubt that this is the breaking point. I’d love to be wrong, but he’s shit on every supposed republican value with no repercussions, why would they have grown morals now?

I know it’s anecdotal, but my MAGA pizza gate believing friend has finally said to me that he thinks I’m right and Trump offed Epstein. I’ve literally been saying that since day 1.

I wish I could have convinced my friend to quit the weird racist shit he got pilled on years ago. He used to be a dyed in the wool Marxist, then spent 10 years on 4chan for some reason and did a 180°. I had to walk away from my best friend of twenty years.

I don’t believe it was at Trump’s behest directly. He’s just one of many, many powerful people who had reason to want him gone.

Glad to hear it. It’s frustrating how slow movement is, but there is movement. It just takes a lot to break through.

      only marching orders.

Isn’t 82% going against orders here? I thing we’ve found an issue that they won’t just move on from which is why it’s important to keep the narrative focused on this

Why are “MAGA Republicans” in a separate category from “Republicans”? They’re all MAGA Reublicans; even some of the Democrats are MAGA Republicans.

They are definitely two distinct groups. Don’t let the media fool you, there is party division to exploit

I’m uninterested in manipulating the uniquely regressive knobs that activate “Republicans” separately from “MAGAts”.

Unless it’s to turn on their class consciousness against all billionaires.

They’re absolutely still two different groups. Doesn’t matter if you’re interested in differentiating them lol

And just to be clear, they’re both shitty. But maga republicans are a powerful minority of the party so you’re basically saying that all rectangles are squares

You could’ve stayed on with the belief that you’d mitigate the MAGAts at the very start but you have to concede that they’re only dragging you deeper now, not the other way around.

It’s the same with progressives and Democrats. I used to believe progressives should stay and help pull moderates and liberals left in the Democrat party. But it’s inescapably clear now that mainstay Democrats are completely unwilling to be dragged left, so the left needs to separate. If you stay in the party, you stay complicit with what it does. This isn’t a home you built or a nationality you were born into. It’s a job you went for and a side you chose; choose a different one now that the current one is soiled.

Even these stats concur with this. If you are wearing a monocle and a top hat and claiming you are a non-Maga republican you are so full of shit I think you are almost worse than the ones that wear their racism on their sleeves.

    “Survey conducted July”

The republican numbers are nowhere near this high today. Nowhere near. I’d guess it’s under 50% now. The propaganda machine has done its job.

The tragedy of it all is that I suspect we’d agree on far more if we bridged the information divide. Yes, even the hateful bigots would eventually see the error of their ways given exposure to the populations they detest so. Every day, we use the very tool that could solve the problem, yet it winds up inflaming our insecurities and having the opposite effect.

And, I’m not going to throw up my hands and deflect with “it’s just human nature.” That’s bullshit. We are constantly changing. Our nature and the influences that formed its current state can also change. Sadly, low information ideology and predatory bad actors, have proven to be a formidable clot.

Very similar to the Affordable Care Act vs Obamacare. Most people on both sides like the ACA or at least see it as a positive thing but the right hates Obamacare. They are lied to and do not know they are the same thing.

The last time it was united was to decide what the following line would be to the verse “Jingle bells, Batman smells”

98% of all Americans said it should be “Robin laid an egg”.
