The one on the left is such an incredible piece of art. The dog’s expression and head tilt are so universal. Nearly two millennia later, you can still understand that they’re looking up at something that excites them. Not even mentioning how you can envision their hair texture and temperament. At least AI can’t copy pottery or sculptures yet.

seriously. i’m not a dog person (i was bit when i was a kid) and i fucking love that left mug. I’d drink out of it every day if i had a replica. even better, if i had it as a teapot that poured tea out the snoot? I WOULD LOVE IT. i know what i want for saint swithin’s day.
