Sadly, the US has shown how broken it really is to allow Cheeto-in-chief and his cronies to work above the law and not be stopped, and a large proportion of the country is completely happy with this. The rest of the world has been shown how unreliable the US as a partner and will find alternatives. US hegemony is dead. The country has failed. Internally, it’s going to have to be restructured. If that means war, that may happen. There are huge divisions morally within the country that make for poor bedfellows.
