There’s videos of ICE losers abandoning kidnapping people because they couldn’t get through a crowd that wouldn’t give in. Resist! It’s not hopeless. Document the crimes for when the wheels of justice slowly begin turning again in the future…

Doubtful they are next, they’re literally the biggest and most challenging places to send ICE. Minnesota is a testing ground for ice resistance just as much as it is ice.

Why didn’t people believe us when we said America would become like Nazi Germany? Why are there people who still don’t believe it? After it’s over, people will still probably laugh at the comparison

The problem isn’t people not believing it, the problem is the people believing and wanting it who voted for and support Trump.

Maybe I’m naive but I tend to assume people are honest. Trump supporters keep on saying ICE is only enforcing the law and only going after people who entered the country illegally. I tend to assume they’re really that ignorant before believing they support ICE blatantly discriminating against Latino people.

They’re already spread thin in MN, this will only make that worse. They’re already desperate to fill their ranks with enough bodies, this will only make that worse.

ICE is currently, and is likely to remain, susceptible to infiltration by resistors.

Any able-bodied people who are interested in offering non-violent resistance to preserve democracy should consider whether they’re willing to exploit this opportunity.

How many people that are progressive or liberal or you know not right wing and are low-key infiltrating ice right now for the greater good? I like the idea of like Robin Hooding from the inside but to see all that brutality up close firsthand would probably make my stomach sick, even if I don’t engage in it myself.

Thinking that ICE’s collapse is a forgone conclusion seems dangerous given how quickly they’re filling their ranks, and because of how much they are improving their strategies in the Minnesota demo. We should all be on the same page and understand that ICE’s power will flourish and their strategies will be refined in coming months. It’s time to prepare for a future in which ICE is successful, not cling to the hope that ICE is somehow doomed to fail.

ICE is not doomed to fail. But they and this regime will be their most vulnerable in these early stages. A swift, coordinated resistance is required to make the most of this time.

I see that as a good thing. People who are just in it for the money are more likely to resist, especially if they realize there are more of them than the ones doing it for the love of the game.

It’s not just that. It’s also a terror tactic and a flaunt of their power. If we fight back, they fight back harder. If we don’t fight back, their revolution succeeds without a drop of blood being spilled. Don’t accept their tyranny out of fear of retaliation. The regime will claim we’re revolting at their leisure, regardless of what we do.

Oh, and zero gatekeeping. Any fool can claim fucking anything and if it goes viral it’s just out there now. James O’Queefe had to sell his bullshit to take down ACORN to Faux News and hope other corporate outlets took up the same story.

They’ve done two big, “operations,” in New York, and both of them failed spectacularly and immediately. The population density of that city basically means, no matter where they show up, within minutes there will be several dozen angry people chasing them down the street. They’re getting constant harassment in fucking Minneapolis, they’ve got no hope of getting anything done in NYC.

I grew up in NYC, live in Boston now. I would say that New Yorkers are rude, impatient, and short-tempered. Bostonians are mean, with a deep-seated rage that’s always threatening to burst to the surface. I don’t know much about Minneapolis, but if they’re anything like the midwesterners I’ve known, they’re kind, polite, and helpful folks. If a large-scale ICE operation provokes that kind of reaction from them, they are not prepared for what they will receive in the Northeast.

This would effectively be a secession from the United States, which would be extremely consequential and very violent.

It’s a proposal that shouldn’t be made flippantly.

Yeah I know, a civil war would be another escalation. I’m saying that the commentary should respect that fact, and respect the fact that if it pops off in 2026, the bad guys win 10/10 times because no preparation has been done whatsoever.

I don’t think there’s an easy California could just withhold money though?

Also Californians don’t have as many guns.

Now Oregon on the other hand…

Perhaps you saw some percentages without looking into the numbers. A lower percentage of households owning in CA is still greater than the number in Oregon. Oregon’s population appears to be 10% of California’s.

Half of Oregon owning guns is still lesser.
