Stuart Semple also developed a comparably “black” black to Vantablack, that is arguably darker and better suited for art use.

Is he the guy that owns culture hustle?

I ordered $270 worth of pigments from them and they never shipped them. I followed up five times over four months and I got emails back saying they’d look into what was going on and I never found out what was goin on. I never got a shipping label. Never got confirmation the order was sent. They stopped replying to my emails eventually (I was polite, for the record).

I finally ended up filing a dispute with my credit card company.

Never in my life have I dealt with such a kafkaesque process.

          Cool.

Yeah, literally the worst customer experience I’ve ever had anywhere.

No product, no answers, ignored emails. It was fucking bizarre honestly.

              Hopefully.

Like. If you can’t fulfill an order or something just tell me. But to keep the money, not ship a product, sign me up to your newsletter, say “you’re looking into it” and not ever look into it… it’s fucking shady af

I bought both versions of his “black” and they’re great. #1 is blacker by far, harder to apply though.
