CNN asked Miller whether the Trump Administration will abide by a district judge’s order blocking the Guard’s deployment in Oregon. “Well, the Administration filed an appeal this morning with the Ninth Circuit,” Miller began. “I would note the Administration won an identical case in the Ninth Circuit just a few months ago with respect to the federalizing of the California National Guard.”

Then, Miller said: “Under Title 10 of the U.S. Code, the President has plenary authority, has—” before making an abrupt stop. Miller blinked several times, with anchor Boris Sanchez calling out his name, though he still did not respond.

A plenary power or plenary authority is a complete and absolute power to take action on a particular issue, with no limitations.

The executive is a co-equal branch of government. We don’t do kings here. We kill kings.

We also kill Nazis. Per long tradition. We don’t debate them. We don’t platform them. Nazis are guilt free kills. Don’t even count as human.

      Don’t even count as human.

… People can be evil (and even deserve execution) without dehumanizing them. You know, the exact thing we hate them for doing?

People calling you a nazi sympathizer don’t know that most people who actively participated as members of the German nazi party were ‘normal’ people. They lived normal lives, followed the law, and existed in normal society. In reality, most people supporting our current nazi problems will need to be deprogrammed and forcibly pulled back into an accepting society. Its what happened in Germany, not many nazis were charged with crimes.

Similar shit happened in Indonesia after the genocide. People had to go back to being neighbours with somewhat typical people who were former state sanctioned serial killers and enablers. Germany tried to deprogram the youth in the '50s, but yeah. Didn’t stick, for various reasons. Harsh reality.

Still, no society has recovered from fascist or similar regimes without at least some targeted pruning of the tree of life. Putin SHOULD obsess about what happened to Gaddafi and the like. Society has to remember or, well, here we are again.

A lazy and false statement that even the slightest of thought rips into a million little pieces. You’re advocating for conditional dehumanization. Something that actually should provoke reflection.

A Nazi is a normal human being with a set of particularly bad convictions.

But same as nobody is born a Nazi, nobody needs to die a Nazi.

This is fundamentally different from cockroaches, who are all cockroach from conception to death.

From my interactions with leftists, they think that the Nazis’ only crime was wearing the wrong uniform. The oppression, tyranny and murder? Totally okay. They were just wearing the wrong symbols while they did it.

I have no clue what you’re talking about but I’m sick of people grouping others together and then raging about groupthink that doesn’t even necessarily exist.

I group together those espousing a particular sentiment and that makes sense to me. They told me what they believe.

It’s another totally pointless shitty waste of time to say “-ists are all [horrible thing]!!”

          Fuck that shit.

We are pushing back, it’s just the US is far more spread out then European countries and protests are purposely not being covered in mainstream media. Not to say we couldn’t be better or doing more.

The US has put or helped keep more kings in power than they have taken out of power. Also, I would like to point out that King George III did not die in the American revolutionary war.

The French killed kings and nazis. The British killed kings and nazis. The Polish killed kings and nazis. The Russian killed kings and nazis. And replaced their king with fucking Stalin. The Canadians rebelled and won against a king(winning the right to create their own government) and killed nazis. (You get the idea)

The US was tricked by their upper class into rebelling, and then replaced the king with a pseudo-king. The US started WW2 helping the Nazis

That’s the story you’ve been told, it is in fact false. You save and help Nazis flee prosecution and the only kings you ever killed were the original inhabitants of America that you genocided in your manifest destiny.

No amount of chest thumping is going to erase the fact you’re already living in the 4th reich and the best you can do about it is shoot some random blogger in the neck. And then you have the gall to ridicule the French…

edit: Like someone mentioned below, the only king you killed was MLK.

So I looked it up and title 10 is all the rules that govern the US armed forces. The president of the United States can trivially be shown to not have plenary authority by the simple fact that the constitution exists. That is in fact the entire point of the constitution, it ensures nobody in the United States has plenary authority. Even title 10 disproves that as it sets out the rules that US armed forces must operate under.

Didn’t you get the news last week? Clarence Thomas issued a new ruling that declared the constitution unconstitutional. Apparently they didn’t have the right to write it so he nullified it.

Suspicion? This has been the goal of right wing and conservative think tanks for decades now. The end goal of conservatism is monarchy. “Plenary Authority” is just a fancy way of saying “The King can do anything he wants”.

This is like accidentally outing your fetishes/porn habits when you’re typing in the address bar with somebody next to you and blaming viruses or somebody else using your computer.

Mr. Miller: It’s okay to get off on Trump’s plenary authority, but please try to keep it to yourself instead of forcing it upon society.

They don’t even mention it on their website lol. A major piece of news occurred live on their airwaves, and the bloodhounds at CNN didn’t smell a thing! Nothing to see here, folks! Just a slow day in the newsroom. It’s nauseating and ominous as hell.
