I guess it is a double edge sword of lemmy. One could write a script to have the voting power of ten people really easily

I can easily believe that. I have no idea how someone comes to that point of view without a ton of brain washing
Didn’t know what you were talking about so I looked it up. Nice reference!
Id really consider it I weren’t foreign to the US. Really really bad look for my whole country if I did anything. But if USA invades us then I’m absolutely going to try.
I’m hopeful I’ll be so popular after that no lawyer will be required 🤞
Also, you know you’re doing something right when you get brigaded haha
I guess maybe. It’s just still odd though. Like you weren’t really making a political point. Maybe they’re just downvoting all your comments? I dunno just strange
I’m so confused as to why someone would downvote your comment. I guess they think you’re trying to shut someone down or something? Like you just mentioned it is risky, I assume because it has happened to you, which is good to know
Not sure why you got downvoted.
I’m not a violent person—I want peace. But if the quickest path to it, with the least bloodshed, is removing this idiot, then so be it.
Very true. I think the tank, much like the cannon, will still have its own niche use case but isn’t the silver bullet so many armies saw it as. Happens a lot I think
It’s a trade off for sure. I think the area editors like Vim totally win in is when you need to ssh into a server and edit something. I think it will always exist because of this use case
Maybe. I don’t know what it’s like in Russia at all.
I’m a StarCraft player, which means that I do not need the numkeys and absolutely have a mental disorder. Why do I do this to myself? Mama Mia 😞
Why would he need a reason though? Couldn’t he just do that at any time?
I’m trying to show how it could be useful for you.
If you consider the risk vs reward of having a passport, it seems like a clear calculation to me. It sounds like we agree then. It’s an extra tool you can have, not the ultimate escape plan. As I say, I believe I am mentioning it for your benefit.
It’s a little relevant to the context, but doesn’t really move the discussion forward- I admit.
I found some sources for you, here’s one:
“The chances of fleeing now were slim. Germany had conquered most of western Europe and its ally Italy was invading France in the south. One of the few escape routes left was the long, eastward one, through the Soviet Union by train. Transportation was costly and official hurdles endless. Travelers needed passports or substitute papers stamped with several kinds of permissions: one for exiting the Soviet Union and others for countries of transit and of final destination. What country would accept Jewish refugees?”

I want you to be well prepared, friend 😊
A passport is one of the most important documents you can have. It has many uses, and is relatively easy to get… at least in my country where we have government efficiency with funding— so we get it in two weeks else it’s free.
Omg he dared me?? Well now I’ve got to do it! (Jks)
Haha but I honestly might. I have a lot of other random projects I’ve given myself 😞
