World News@lemmy.world•Pope says people being ‘defrauded by the rich’ in latest forceful sermonEnglish
1·22 days agoIf they are to be separated so be it. In not taking that chance, all that blood is in this Pope’s hands.
Off course there’s never been a Pope who hasn’t been at least happily complacent in mass murder. In not condemning it he endorses it.
But to the Pope it is more important to maximize his power, be in from murderers, pedophiles, conmen or a devil of any kind. This God’s emissary on Earth has always been a refuge for the most evil people on it, and continues to be so.

2·24 days agoThat is not really relevant. The point is that USA’s sins are their on, and Americans have built the USA of today themselves. It is the failure of that system, no one else’s.

2·24 days agoI did. None of those are reasons to sign up to be a murderer. Skip the middleman and go kill and rob someone straight on the street if you consider greed a sufficient reason to kill people.

2·24 days agoThose are all mercenary reasons for signing up to be a goverment killer, so they can eat this shit and then a bullet and I won’t shed a tear for these imperialist invaders. Dying there is what they signed up for, so they can do that.

6·24 days agoAnd industry certainly didn’t have to. Whilst Trump is wrong about the effects of trade deficit, he wasn’t wrong about it posing problems for US. Trade deficit isn’t a bad thing, because if done wisely import is essentially foreign investment in domestic production.
The fact that US manufacturers struggle is another way Trump represents the US: the US personified is a horrible short-sighted businessman that can’t get ahead with decades of a head start and endless investment pouring in.
Meanwhile if you hit the adjacent letters on “the” or the like it will happily just decide that you that "twe, thr, rhe and so on noncapitalized are legitimate words that make sense in the place of an article, and saves them for future use.

1·29 days agoWell how could it not be? Genetically it’s just two random people, what would be the basis of making it illegal if at some point your parents hit off?
Minivans/MPVs are so much better family cars in practice it isn’t even funny.
They are comfier. Less ground clearance drives better and is more economical. They are actually effective at occasional cargo hauling. And so on. Luckily they seem on the uptick, SUVs are a devolution in practical aspects.

3·1 month agoWell then your argument is that you’re just a supremacist who wants to keep his inherently superior culture on top by unorganically indoctrinating people.
Perhaps, though schooling is often struggles to promote solutions that are not efficiency first. In fact as far as I’ve experienced colleges and universities often benchmark the courseload so most will resort to shortcuts that save time and reduce learning.
Of course there are always those who take the path of least resistance, but outside actual prodigies schooling is designed for priorization for those with higher aspirations too.
Not a valueless skill of course, but I’ve often wondered if the courses tight scheduling squeezes in manage to compensate for shoddier fundamentals of the trade and more knowing things to be tested.

2·1 month agoWell the specifics in other religions are a little different but all have a part about pushing your moral responsibility and development on something else. You are never at fault, or are always at fault so it doesn’t matter. And even if it doesn’t matter you apply scripture so facing legal punishment is unnecessary.
Religion is for people of no morals or intelligence to supplant both.

1·1 month agoOrganizing a religion that emphasizes freedom and tries to incorporate all our likes or dislikes into it is one test of religious freedom I’ve always wanted to make.
After all if you can globally mutilate children and harass every single other group in existence for religious purposes surely we can be allowed total media freedom, subsidies for our cultural high quality food and preferred parking for our subsidized luxury cars for our starter sacred privileges in society?

People could and do try to make atheists change, however delusions without basis are hard to instill in rational people.
