Pete Hegseth’s Department of Defense sent the White House an 11-page memo about the steps it has taken to comply with Donald Trump’s anti-trans executive order, according to a copy of the memo obtained by 404 Media using the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).
Among dozens of other actions, the Pentagon said that it not only changed the signs on bathroom doors to “reflect biological sex” but that it will continue to “monitor intimate spaces to ensure ongoing compliance” and that it will “continuously evaluate and update intimate spaces as necessary.”
Imagine the mental gymnastics required to decide continuous monitoring of yourself in intimate spaces is more private than the chance a trans person could use a stall in the same bathroom.
Do they earn a deployment ribbon for being on active doodie?
Can’t wait to hear someone being referred to as veteran after being Lavatory Supervising n Officer for the entirety of their “deployment”

I know Hesgeth is big on “reviving the warrior ethos”, so apparently warriors need their intimate spaces monitored in order to accomplish that.
We trust them to fight and die on our behalf, but not to pee without pre-approval from the SecDef.

Problem solved.
The bathrooms at SEA airport are unisex. They’re great! The toilet stalls are large and totally private. There’s a special urinal area too. I honestly don’t know why more places, especially big public places, aren’t unisex.
So they drew dicks on the doors?
New special duty for low ranking enlisted just dropped.

My mind goes back to watching Maher interview Megyn Kelly and she was said that trans was her #1 issue. I am still just bowled over by someone of relative prominence saying such a crazy thing, but she is obviously not alone in that.
I find it just…baffling. It’s such a small group, WTAF. All the bathroom bills and the hand-wringing over “men in women’s sports”, JFC.
You’d think trans people made up like 25% of our society rather than like 0.5%.
Glad they’re watching the real danger & not domestic terrorism, election rigging or dismantling of the constitution
