    They don’t know or choose to forget that Irish, Italian, Polish, etc. immigrants were considered “not white” and “not American” too.

      Apple pie comes from England, but it evolved from foods made by the Dutch, but they took/evolved it from the Ottomans who took apples from Kazakhstan.

      But modern Apple pie is an English invention, it just has a lot of influences from other sources (which is the same for pretty much every food).

        It most definitely is not an English invention. Basically all European cuisines has some form of apple pie. Pies, both sweet and savoury, was the main method of cooking food in the middle ages.

      Oh please! Virtually impossible to tell where food actually originates from! You think the the first time of someone put roast meat on bread was in hamburg?

      But irrespective of what I just said, pizza is hungarian! Lángos is a lot lot lot older than italian pizza :>
