The reason tutorials are always based on terminal commands is because it’s much harder to describe directions for a GUI, and it’s also a lot more prone to change. When the command is just a single line, not images or dependencies, that’s obviously better.
TBF, on Debian apt install firefox installs firefox-esr, and on Ubuntu it’s a placeholder that installs the snap package. Both work and are clearly better than downloading from random websites, but they do come with surprises for unsuspecting users.
Literally easier than Windows.
People are falling for this and downloading software from unofficial websites.
Linux is super easy.
click the store basket icon.
type the name of the program.
press install.

I use discover on opensuse tumbleweed. Simple, easy, and I can choose the source from flathub and tumbleweed when both are available.
I did have an issue once but it turned out that it was network related and not my config.

Inertia?
That’s because debian stable need ESR packages to make any sense, on debian unstable (debian Sid) you get the normal package
Or even: yay firefox
or even: yay -S librewolf-bin
No need. Librewolf got added to extra repo. yay librewolf or pacman -S librewolf will do just fine.
👍
yay firefoxdoesyay -Ss firefox.Which, in turn, does
me: yay! 🥳It should take a moment or two to install. /s
CachyOS # pacman -S firefox-wayland-cachy-hg
