Well, not the pedophile himself, but the country is their 6th largest trade partner. 5% of your exports is a lot to lose all at once.
But it’s also stupid af on Trump’s part. Spain has more to lose, but the US loses out on trade too. Generally speaking, unless we’re talking about straight up colonialism, trade usually benefits both parties.
