For anyone who’s seen the quintessential slasher classic “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre,” the destructive power of a man wielding a chainsaw is the indisputable stuff of nightmares.

But the same could easily be said about this year’s remake featuring Elon Musk, where the dancing chainsaw slasher reenacted, for Conservative Political Action Conference theatergoers, a scene eerily reminiscent of the original. I’m thinking, specifically, of that unforgettable final scene, where Leatherface fades to black swinging his gas-powered murder weapon wildly through the air as he helplessly watches his last potential victim make her last-minute daring escape, dangling from the back of a stranger’s pickup truck.

Unfortunately for America — Musk’s America, Trump’s America — there is no stranger, there is no pickup truck. Only the chainsaw.

We’re just being kept ‘entertained’ so they can get on with the business of robbing us blind and making us fight each other.

Another one of you now? Yes, we’ve heard this many many times in the last week. We don’t need it repeated in every single thread.

As of this writing the last 10 comments you’ve made on any thread you’ve posted on has been this same idea.

I do see you have other ideas and contribute to other conversations which I appreciate, but your repeated post idea is well represented already. WE GET IT THIS IS YOUR OPINION ON THIS.

So now you’re going to dictate what can people comment about and how often? Who are you?

Indeed. I stand by my original comments saying that this is a huge distraction. partial_accumen is here to proclaim loudly to the world that I’m TALKING TOO MUCH ABOUT HOW TRUMP IS PULLING A FAST ONE, and meanwhile, what’s Trump doing? Nationalising the National Guard to implement martial law in blue cities that don’t appreciate his bullshit.

Like I said. The Musk bullshit was entertainment, designed to distract us from what’s really going on – the imposition of Project 2025. The eradication of our civil liberties. Sending the military against those of us that dare stand up to Hair Fuehrer. The establishment of a right-wing dictatorship. Thread after thread after thread is coverage of the Trump-Musk bullshit distraction event. And rather than make that the central part of his complaint, ol’ partial_accumen decides the better idea is to get me to shut up about the distractification going on here. Seriously, that’s the thing he’s worried about?

So you’ve found 10 posts about Elon and Trump’s fued,

No, I’ve found this posters last 10 posts were ONLY the idea that this is all a distraction. How many times do we need to hear people say that? This poster isn’t the only one spamming that same idea. We get it they think that. Why does that need to be spammed across every other topic?

but I’ve seen virtually no posts on how Trump is preparing to send the national gaurd to police cities and enforce immigration laws. Literal martial law, while conveniently not calling it that. Just a few weeks away. But let’s make 10 posts about their little spat

So start a thread on that. No one is stopping you.

Oh I’d love to, but then I find you spamming the same thing over in other threads too.

I normally don’t block people because even if I disagree with a position they hold, I give it consideration. However, since the ONLY thing you seem to be posting is the “distraction” comments, I don’t think I’m going to miss any other ideas from you.
