JD Vance, a Catholic convert who occasionally has sparred with church leaders over their criticism of the Trump administration’s immigration crackdown, said in an interview on Fox News Channel on Monday night that the president’s social media post with the Jesus-like image was “a joke.”

“Of course, he took it down because he realized a lot of people weren’t understanding his humor,” Vance said.

He repeatedly dismissed the focus on the president’s fight with the pope, saying it “isn’t particularly newsworthy” and there will be disagreements from time to time with the Vatican.

But Vance also suggested the pope should stay in his lane.

Take it from me guys, Donald is not evil, nor is he exhibiting signs of mental decline. And it’s definitely not both of those things! He’s just uhh… Too funny. Yeah, that’s it! You didn’t get it. You’re the problem here.

People understand that Trump has no sense of humor. This episode of megalomaniac narcissism was further proof of that.

So what you’re saying is he’s a pussy who backs down when he doesn’t have everyone’s full support?

Wasn’t it supposed to be a doctor? What’s the “joke” then?

These morons aren’t just criminals and liars.

They are also criminally bad at lying.

Then why did Trump himself tell people that it was actually a picture of a doctor, to show support for the Red Cross?
That doesn’t sound like a joke.

No no, don’t even give him that credit of sanity. He didn’t say it was to show support for the Red Cross, he said it was him as a doctor who had to do the Red Cross. Not show support of the Red Cross. Not a doctor with the Red Cross. Not helping people like they do in the Red Cross.

Had to do the Red Cross. You know, as if it were some action or procedure someone could perform.

Even when criticizing this dumbass, it’s like we can’t help but whitewash his deteriorating mental status.

It’s hilarious when I would see cons trying to do this “liberals can’t meme” narrative they were all telling themselves and trying to foist onto the world.

These dumbfucks are almost always terrible at anything related to comedy.

When Americans got upset that John Lennon said the Beatles were more popular than Jesus, at least Lennon owned his words. He never called it a joke or belittled his critics. He calmly stated his reasons and eventually apologized for upsetting people.

I’m not saying this to hold up John Lennon as some epitome of goodness (he’s had his share of skeletons in the closet.) Rather, that even a snarky lad who built his public persona on taking the piss at any given opportunity didn’t fall back on the “it’s just a joke, bro” defense.

Trump’s sense of humour also involved a fantasy of him dropping his own shit onto Americans.

Which was about the most accurate thing he’s posted, himself dropping wet shit on Americans from a great height. Sadly it’s a good analogy.

There is absolutely no evidence to suggest Trump has a sense of humour.

He is cruel, lacking in empathy, intelligence and wit.

All the basic skills required for humour. And he’s a cunt.

I like the demon in the background of the photo in the sky, it really clarifies the situation. I like to think of it as the witch king behind the unblinking eye as others have posited.

I dunno what people are so upset about. I just came from the doctor’s office. The nurse called my name and the doctor then descended from the sky, wearing his doctor robes and shawl, hand glowing brightly as he stuffed a thermometer up my ass.

IS THAT NOT HOW ALL DOCTORS LOOK AND OPERATE.
