Usually Kash would do a huge press conference for all of these, but they’re happening so fast and there’s so much else going on no one can talk about everything. And by the time they start talking about how bad it is, it’s going to blindsided everyone.

There’s a reason all the billionaires in the US are building bunkers.
Bunkers just prove yet again the short term mindset of the wealthy. they’re useless. They hold off death for a brief period of time. Eventually though you need to leave said bunker of which we kill you on exit OR you go the hitler route.
These idiots honestly believe if they throw themselves in one we’re not just going to camp the outside?
Or the third possibility: killed by their own staff/security.

If they really didn’t, they’d hand back some of the wealth/power to appease us. Which is why when/if they get to that point, we take what they offer and use that to fight for more.

They don’t seem to understand that firing up al of this puts everyone in danger, including them. Of course, having a dedicated secret service to protect you helps, but that branch is far from perfect.

Here’s the thing about the secret service. Fascists/authoritarians are paranoid and obsessed with personal loyalty. The problem with that is it breeds incompetence, laziness, and negligence. You are limiting yourself to an ever-shrinking pool of sycophants, and I think we all know from our own lives that the least productive or skilled amongst us kiss the most ass.
Given that most law enforcement stories lately (/s) are completely divorced from reality and fall apart with video evidence, I’d like to see the body cam of this. Now all we have to do is wait for the AI to generate some video that matches the report…
