The canary in the coal mine should have been when they explicitly started targeting trans people but people here don’t care. They think trans people must have deserved it and nothing bad will happen to the people they think actually matter. Why would this situation be an exception?
I will never get over what this country did in November 2024. We had Project 2025. (Queer Furry) Hackers risked their lives to leak it. IIRC the lead hacker was raided and imprisoned once Trump got in power, and I don’t know if they ever got out.
