This is why i like to do yoga for a similar meditative effect. Its easier to clear my mind when holding a position and the positions help promote long even breaths which help achieve a calm mental state.
I can see that. My favorite way to meditate is doing a long run. One foot in front of the other for 2-3 hours will do wonders for unraveling worries or complex problems.
Go to gym
Pick up heavy disc
Brain turn off
Realize that I can chose to stop rethinking the thoughts I’ve already thought and replanning the things I’ve already planned.
Find that that’s WAY harder when I’m not physically active.
