While this is certainly the case for english, it does not apply to every language. Especially those with a lot of characters like Japanese. You also remember stuff better when writing it down, and some people just prefer it.
The Dixon Ticonderoga is the only pencil I’ve used that doesn’t have an absolute shit eraser, so I pick that.
