I have never had the privilege to have a closet worth $20k. That sounds gigantic.
I wrote out a long response but it sounded condescending and I dont mean it that way. So I’ll just say this…home renovation can get pricy super fast. A full gut of a bathroom can cost $8-$20k depending on the size. A closet is much cheaper if it’s just a little room or a small push-back in the wall. But a walk in even a small space with cabnits can start to run up.
Master bathrooms are one of the largest selling points of a home. A decent reno of a master bath can be quite expensive.
