Say, a Russian dissident went a western country, became a citizen, gave up Russian citizenship, then putin visits, this person gets mad, brings a gun and shoots putin.
What will international relations look like? Since the person is not exactly a native of their adopted country. Lets assume trump wasn’t president, what if its a Russian-American? Would the US extradite, or do the trial themselves. Would the headline look like “American Assassinated Putin” or “Russian Dissident Assassinated Putin”. Would it cause more or less tensions, than it it had been a non-russian white person being the assassin?
What about like EU countries? Australia? UK?
Or if the visit was in, say, Japan?
All of the above. Every single group will twist it to suit their needs, but those who control the narrative will ultimately win out
“American Assassinated Putin” or “Russian Dissident Assassinated Putin”
I think both of these headlines would be printed. Russia would blame US, and US would blame them.
Four, “High Ranking” Democrat senators might agree to send an email.
“Asking for a friend”
Um… its for a novel… 👀
(Trust me bro 😉)
Is your pen name SWIM?
(Someone Who Isn’t Me, for those not familiar with that one)
“Well, in that case, let me divulge all of our contingency plans, the exact layout and protocols for accessing camp David and everything else you need. For realism. Just don’t make us look like morons, Kay?”- secret service, maybe
Is it called “The Instruction Manual how to Start a World War”, by any chance?
It would be a gift to whatever country was hosting the shooter. They could disown them completely. Russia in this case would blame the hosting country for not being good enough security wise and there would be a flaming hot discussion. Possibly some level of conflict and then it would die down.
Putin is a war criminal with an arrest warrant by the ICC. He ain’t visiting nowhere, apart from shithole countries that aren’t part of ICC.
