Surrounded it in spoiler with appropriate title. Is there another way to mark it NSFW in a comment?

Just put a big “NSFW/NSFL” on it.

Pro tip… If you start a line with a # and a space:

            it makes things HUGE!

Was just about to comment the same. I’ve seen bad shit thanks to my adhd and the all too common morbid curiosity.

Even I wasn’t ready for that, it’s not common to get such a close and focused view on that shit…

I want to emphasis, for anyone morbidly curious, you really ought not click the link unless you want to feel very upset and uneasy. Be warned.

Also, as a side note, that’s not an easy single shot to make, especially if the initial reports are right that it was taken 200 meters away… unless you’re a professional. You have to be very familiar with the gun and really have the sights/scope honed to leave it at a singular shot like that. That’s a small target at that distance even if aiming for center of mass. It’s from the side as well it seems… not many would be comfortable taking that one.

I don’t like this somehow. Feels wrong, even if here especially the target really had it coming.

Been following the talking heads on the news and the consensus among professionals is that it’s not a particularly hard shot and, if anything, shooter was aiming for a headshot and wasn’t prepared for the bullet drop and got lucky.

Id like to note that it made be a bit iffy but between the autism and C-PTSD it barely got me. But yeah if that’s my reaction you should be cautious.

Also I doubt the shooter was aiming for the neck, Kirk was moving and it’s between both the rough outer range for both a body shot and a headshot. It’s possible they were going for center mass but due to various factors nailed him in the neck.

It looked to be in his left side of the neck to me. Very severe shot. This is not a Trump “well, maybe he faked it with razor blades” kind of thing. Dude was straight up shot in the neck.

Yeah, I watched that video…. Quite horrifying

But weird they say “near the neck” rather than “in the neck” in the article

Journalists are going to error on the indefinite side if they don’t personally know. Anyone who watched the video would say “He got shot in the neck.” But if you’re only hearing about it 2nd hand you say what you do know.
