I think that amount of pawns is pretty much what you need to make it winnable. Maybe a few less if you take black’s pawns away. Pretty sure this one, as presented, is unwinnable, which… kind of undermines the point they’re trying to make.
And if a pawn gets promoted, it’s a class traitor and becomes your opponent’s piece?
how about that counts as breaching the armoury and having access to their weapons?

Anecdotal but I have not enjoyed it so far.
I remember playing something similar back in the day, the difference was that the pawn side got to move twice each turn.

And half the white pawns are capturing the black pawns because they are “cops”.

Seems way too stacked in favor of black. In fact, I feel like it’s a forced win in like 30 moves or less. Can someone knowledgeble plug this into fairy stockfish or something to confirm?
