I think this is super accurate. I might have in a moment (or twelve or a hundred) of weakness eaten a whole box of these in a single sitting.

Absolutely love these things but I forget they exist which is probably better for my health!
Bleh, these things are nasty. A thin “cookie” that crumbles like powder and is roughly the texture and flavor of wet cardboard, with a hint of chocolate, surrounding a grainy piece of “frozen dairy dessert” (legally not ice cream).
Get better ice cream sandwiches.

Where I live around Christmas they come out with these but that have mint filling with little idk like cookie balls or something inside. Damn I can’t wait for Christmas.

Never encountered that in my 30+ years of scarfing down these. At least in the US they are traditionally a chocolatey thing.
Never mind, the last ingredient on the list is alkali cocoa, but it was not legible on the package I had.
Still, tastes about as much like chocolate as gingerbread does though!
