So what the issue with my car?
Well it doesn’t start up
Not bashing on Steam, to be clear, but this error will not help fix the issue, user actually needs to investigate one of the many reasons this could be.
A meaningful error may be: write failed because files are locked by process xy.
I have been hearing of this for a few years now, nothing specific recently that I can share, but I have enjoyed watching China Found Something Better Than Oil, which is the same topic but about neodymium magnets.
Great contribution to the conversation
I see, yes my understanding is that the process can be a lot cleaner and other countries do it (like the US), China just chooses to take cheap shortcuts to take stranglehold of the market, which they now have.
I wasn’t arguing that. The way China mines and processes lithium for battery manufacture, in which they’re the leading exporter by far due to their rich rare earth deposits, is destroying the surrounding areas.
The question was about politics and economics, not morals.
I would hope not supporting suffering and destruction doesn’t need to be explicitly stated to be understood.
I don’t know if I agree. A dictatorship decides to make more batteries and so the industry bends. Land is taken by the state to build mines. Little regard for the people or the environment.
All of this makes it easier for China to just move to electric, and part of why the EVs they export are so cheap.
They subsidise by environmental impact and possibly human suffering.
* Not to mention they own the battery market.
Someone correct me, but for rice alone, the cheapest rice cooker will do the job just as well as a Ninja or some shit like that, and may be easier to clean if it has just a lid compared to 5 different parts.
If you dont trust those, the Japanese style egg-shaped ones are still affordable and just work.
Confidently incorrect. Read a book now and then.
Yeah that sounds best, save unnecessary click/confirm but still acknowledge the query.
I doubt Netflix wants to show:
Search: A
AB (unavailable)
ABC (unavailable)
ABCD (unavailable)
So probably a gray/dark pattern…
From a UX perspective, would you prefer the site pretends they never heard of James Bond, rahter than confirming it’s existence and (un)availability?
I don’t use Netflix, so I apologise if the UI is actually intentionally misleading, but that otherwise sounds like good UX.
Unless you’re Talkien chatting about LotR, I really don’t know what one can possibly talk about this often on a letter. I’d get anxiety with letters pouring through the mailbox each day.
I usually stick to water/tea/coffee, so when I buy something, I’m probably treating myself to a milkshake. I say this because it’s only a problem with thicker liquids and drinks that are shaken, but no matter what, that shit is dripping from the lid on my face or shirt, unless I drink in the most awkward angle or enact some uncouth acts with the lid first.
Lots of varied advice in the thread. I would suggest you choose a software first, then find recommended naming for it. Many will do some organisation for you, or even let you define the structure.
I don’t like calibre, but it’s undeniably the most complete solution. I’m not a fan of having to remote into a desktop for certain actions that given frontent doesn’t support (there are many).

Don’t bother. Lemmy is too far up it’s own ass. You may be able to have an actual discussion on Hacker News.
That’s not really accurate, Azure is massive.
Can’t be faulted if it turns off 150ms prior to the accident. Checkmate
I would imagine sms would always remain as a fallback.
Personally, it helps me so much to make things that are useful for me or others, even in the smallest way. Sometimes even just thinking in a ‘I might learn something new’ is enough.
I also have a project tracker on NocoDB, and just seeing ‘the number go up’ makes me feel good for what was accomplished. Like a no drinking tracker but in reverse?
