  • They’re not going to be able to. Not in a timely manner.

This is why simply voting will just not work. It’s not going to work for one election. It has to work for every election afterwards, which people aren’t caring to understand. Right now, things are being damaged and we’re not exactly holding the people doing the damage as accountable as firm wording makes it sound like.

It’ll take generations to even make America a trustworthy and livable country again. This is what happens, when you stupidly vote and senselessly damn millions of people to be subjected to years of a nightmare circus. All because you could not be bothered to take not even one minute to educate yourself, figure where everyone stands on the issues and weed out what’s truth and what’s false.

There’s no excuse anymore and I will not hear of any. The Democrats aren’t even giving people a convincing argument as to why anyone should vote for them, when they’ve help fund the very people who’ve murdered Americans in broad daylight under the guise of being an immigration department.

We need an Independent president, but people are too scared to even try because they’re eternally locked into the two-party system, even though, both parties have systematically let the people down over and over and over again. When was the last time we had an Independent president? Oh, some 170+ years ago.

Enjoy the hell we’re living in, because millions of you cast us into this and we’re not going to learn a fucking thing from it because we believe in stupid karma systems and unproven entities to clean up our problems.

  • If Valve so badly doesn’t want to be responsible for moderating things on their own platform, then yes, they should be giving tools to the players to better self-moderate.

I’m envisioning it right now. The idea where someone sees a review of a game, negative or positive, adding nothing to what decision someone could have before buying a game. They can just close that review out and they’d never see it. It’d automatically block the person too, why not, their input isn’t valuable.

I didn’t know they got rid of the jester award until I checked today. I kinda wish we could just delete the awards such as them from our reviews that got flagged with those shitty things. I’d also take away the ‘funny’ marker too because I feel it adds nothing to reviewing games, it only enables the trolls and other shitty people from abusing it.

  • I am sorry but if people still think the Palestinian conflict is the end-all and be-all of where the state of the world goes, much less, where America goes. Then they’re no better than the single-minded voters that helped the Republicans win twice.

There will ALWAYS and I mean ALWAYS be conflict going on over the Middle-East with everyone there. It is NEVER-ENDING. We’ve wasted nearly 20 years dicking around with Afghanistan and Iraq. All for what? So the Taliban can take over territory in less than a week after all that effort? What a waste!

What we needed to do and should have done was hold Israel accountable and not fund them anymore. If to them, makes us look anti semitic, then so what? They’re the aggressors, they’re the ones being tyrannical bastards right now and if they can’t see that then it’s their problem they need to sort out or don’t. Whatever floats their little boat.

But also, we have so much shit to fix here that it’ll be a bit until we get there. We’ve already squandered telling Israel to stop their shit.

  • My start was all the way back when WebTV was around in 1996. I was using IRC-like chat rooms provided by Talk City. There, we had fun trivia games, some friendly chatter and vice versa.

Then, I moved on to MSN Chat sometime in the early 2000s. I would make my home there until the day MSN decided to make MSN Chats subscription based sometime around 2004 and I ended up leaving. These chat rooms were where I had some of my earliest periods roleplaying.

From there I would go to MySpace and I stayed there for quite a bit of time, felt like maybe 5 or so years before I just gradually lost interest. By that point in the middle, when Facebook got out of its college-only phase, I joined about a couple years after that in what felt like 2008-ish.

In 2007 also, I was in DeviantArt chat rooms and I was there up until 2014. I would join Gaia Online too in 2007 until 2016.

I didn’t start using things like Reddit until mid-2010s. I got into Second Life by 2013. Didn’t use Twitter until much later and left long before Musk even got it.

Oh and somewhere around my ventures of the 2010s, I did in fact hop into mIRC servers for a bit.

And finally by about 2023, I jumped into the Fediverse for the first time via Lemmy, discarding Reddit for good (not that it mattered because I kept getting shadow-banned anyways). I do have a TikTok but it’s only for associating with a friend on there. I’ve never regularly used AOL or Yahoo!'s chat rooms. I never had ICQ but I did have AIM, MSN and Yahoo!'s respective messengers. I’ve gotten into Instagram for a cup of coffee before bowing out like a couple days.

So, these days, all I use now is PieFed, Facebook, Second Life and Discord (if one can even call it social media).
