From what I’ve been reading and told, a lot of the violence comes from instigators trying to discredit and devalue the protests, not the actual protesters. So avoid jumping to conclusions about who started this fire, could easily be someone just trying to stir up shit to harm the protests.
More likely kids that just like them some ultraviolence and dgaf about the protests either way
How is that more (or less) likely? Unless I missed some proof being posted, the point is we don’t know either way…
Well how likely do you think it is that these 15-16yo boys all around France are really part of some grand slick counterrevolutionary plot?
Yep, far right is not far away.
Missed opportunity to say “set ablaze”. Damn shame.
Would’ve been fire! 🔥
THIS is how you fuckin protest.
What did the protesters achieve?
Did you even watch the video?
It’s right here in the post
I would assume the budgets wont be getting cut for new school buildings now. So exactly what they wanted?
Let’s hope the new school will be ready on Monday 🤞 🤞
Let’s hope the government learns this time, and heads don’t need to come off.
Make doing the thing more painful and inconvenient than not doing the thing. The concept is pretty simple
context?
High schoolers in France are protesting due to poor conditions and a defamed education.
- Our PISA scores are low
- budgets are getting cuts
- classes are overcrowded
- students have too long hours and too much work for poor results
They have a right to protest but they are being met with a really heavy repression.
Tear gas, “non-lethals”, armors + bâtons…
They are kids. (Fuck EU kids act btw, this is the reality of how they treat our kids)
definitely a crazy fucking video
