      I think the point is that alcohol tends to wreck you harder at higher temperatures and Spain is (at least in Europe) known for its ungodly heat.

          I don’t know. Never have been to Spain. But Spanish beer is sold in small 0,33 Liter bottles here. Which my German brain doesn’t register as beer sometimes. It’s confusing. I am confused. And tired. Going to sleep. Good night.

            Good morning!

            It’s because bigger beers get warm before you can drink them. We prefer to order 6 tiny cold beers one by one than single large beer that will be warm by the time you drink half of it.

              I actually like this. Never saw it that way. I will do it the Spanish way the next time my ass gets fried at 35 degrees plus.

                Other common way is to order a bucket of ice and beer. You get a bunch of 0.25-0.20l bottles in a bucket.
