I will never understand people who look at Susan Collins and Ted Cruz and say, “That’s who I want to vote for!”
God I would be so happy if this piece of shit lost her primary.
I’m more concerned about the general. She’s a wannabe centrist Republican, so if she looses the primary, it’d probably be to a MAGA hardliner. At least they’d be honest with where stand, but I don’t like those positions.

I’m not exactly going to shed any bitter tears for Susan Collins, but if she is ultimately replaced by another Republican, they’re almost guaranteed to be exponentially worse. Depending on your point of view and whether Dems are able to take the seat, it has the potential of becoming a case of “Be careful what you wish for, you might get it.” if her seat is taken by a MAGA suckup.
