“Everyone makes mistakes, you don’t have to make a federal pillowcase out of it.”
If a pillow wore pants, would it be like this?
The fuck it’s a pillowcase, is it like a box for pillows
“T-shirts are amazing - your body goes into one hole and goes out of three.”
(This is a joke at the blurry image posted by OP by exaggerating the blur)I’ll never understand why this sort of thing is okay with people. Especially here on Lemmy.
It takes minimal effort to find a better copy. If you think it takes longer, then that’s because you never do it and you just need to do it a few times. With this small step we can make Lemmy significantly better than the rest of the Internet.
Huh? OP must’ve edited it then because for me the OP is super clear and yours is very foggy. Using Voyager app on lemm.ee, maybe your frontend or instance is doing something?
I added more blur to make fun of the ‘original’ post. I would hardly call it ‘super clear’
Here. The original post was really easy to find and take a new screenshot.
If I take my glasses off, then yours is clearer because it’s the same text fit into a higher resolution image
With my glasses on, which I kinda need to be a functional human being, there’s little difference. I think the higher contrast on OP’s image might be doing a lot of heavy lifting in making it as readable as a higher resolution image with less contrast.
Here’s my attempt at best of both worlds:
I think I need a font with slightly better clarity if I’m taking screenshots for people with bad vision though
With my glasses on, which I kinda need to be a functional human being, there’s little difference.
It seems you’ve stumbled on the root of the issue. I guess some people just can’t see the blur. I don’t have a particularly special phone and I’ve unfortunately been without my glasses all day. It’s likely due more to experience and ‘training’, but it’s easily apparent that my half-assed screenshot is significantly clearer. Less contrast, sure, but that doesn’t magically remove the blur. Most likely the biggest factor is that many people just don’t care, which I find beyond frustrating.
