Also, I refuse to call them “Americans” anymore. USians don’t own that term. As a Canadian, I’m american, cause I live in North America. People who live in Mexico and South America are also americans. In fact, they have more title to that name than USians or myself as a non-indigenous person.
Nobody uses Americans to mean everyone from Guatamala to Canada. The problem with having your own unique conflicting usage is that literally nobody understands you
